Optimum Lawyers.

The Situation:

Optimum Lawyers is a large law firm based in Parramatta Sydney. The principal lawyer Wissam met with our IT consulting services experts in 2019 to discuss their business IT support pain points. For over 5 years, Optimum Lawyers were spending on average 8% of their annual revenue on IT solutions and IT infrastructure. Their goal was simple: to halve this to 4% and ensure the ongoing IT operational costs were also reduced.

Challenges:

Optimum Lawyers had an ambitious target to halve their annual IT spend while also improving the output and efficiency of their business.

Our Approach:

As SureTech were already managing Optimum Lawyers Digital Marketing services, we had an opportunity to synergise their IT consulting services with their digital marketing to deliver a single digital overarching strategy which is scalable and low cost. We performed a Free IT Audit for the entire business IT infrastructure and IT solutions including all subscriptions. We then provided a report with the recommended IT solutions and infrastructure to match their goals (reduce cost and increase business efficiency).

We rolled out an initial project to replace their aged IT infrastructure and IT solutions. Cloud solutions including Office 365 were integrated as part of the larger strategy to enable increased efficiency and access to data, especially in court.  We then commenced Managed IT Support.

Results:

In 9 months, Optimum Lawyers has saved 39% in IT costs compared to the previous year, and we project that within 12 months, we will exceed their 50% cost savings target. With 101% reduced system downtime, this has enabled the business to focus on their core activities, rather than painstaking over IT issues. This resulted in a massive 89% improved business efficiency. To put this in simpler terms, their new IT solutions and Managed IT Services Sydney has effectively enabled them to perform the work of an additional full time lawyer at no cost.
